About the project
Nestmedic approached ExploreIT to create a new version of the monitoring platform streamlining analysis of the CTG examination and allowing for fast reaction to any situation imposing medical risk on mother and a child.
Approach
Our implementation began with a “deep learning phase” - an analysis of existing research papers and several hours of consultations with various experts. We had gone through hundreds of pages before we started implementing the algorithms, at first in MatLab. Seven hundred examinations were then checked with medical experts. Four months of fine-tuning allowed us to finally reach the point where we could say: the baseline is good!
Solution
We developed the telemedical platform supporting the administrative and medical processes for the two distant business model: home and clinical use allowing for fully remote services. The automatic medical data examination allows for analysis of FHR, detecting contractions; tachycardia, bradycardia, acceleration, deceleration and oscillation and translating the received info on irregularities into a robust alerting system. The system received the medical certification.
